Fast Blog Finder Review

July 26th, 2009

I finally got around to purchasing the Fast Blog Finder Gold Edition so I could review it and compare it to my site.   It’s $50 bucks with no refund policy so I’ve been a little slow to purchase it.  However based on most comments on popular internet marketing forums the general word is that Fast Blog Finder is the best program available for finding dofollow sites.

So without further ado… My review.

Fast blog finder is downloadable program that automatically scans the internet for blogs related to your search term (niche).  On average the scans take 10 minutes so its a bit of a process for each search so plan ahead.  In my experience it returned between 600 and 800 results broken into 3 main categories: DoFollow, NoFollow, and Unknown.  On average each search found between 30 and 60 DoFollow blogs.  (Special note: I suggest keeping the default search settings so you don’t get your IP banned by google)

Given that each search alone takes 10 minutes it took quite awhile to run my standard test.   As a reminder my standard test is to search for 5 terms (vacation, dofollow, real estate, iphone, and web history) and check the top 10 results.  A point is given for each result that is actually dofollow with a maximum score of 50.

Since Fast Blog Finder doesn’t return results in a order of relevancy I decided to randomly pick 10 results tagged as dofollow.  On a side note: I was very disappointed in the relevancy of the search results.  Many of Fast Blog Finders results weren’t relevant at all.   This was especially true for multiple word searches.  Many of the results for “real estate” simple were web pages that had the word “real” on them.  I’ve never specifically scored previous sites for this because most use google CSE so it’s not an issue.  However this is a major issue in my opinion since much of the backlinking power in blog commenting comes from being targeted!

Overall Fast Blog Finder Score:  25/50 or 50% DoFollow

Vacation = 4 of 10

DoFollow = 9 of 10

Real Estate = 5 or 10

Iphone = 2 of 10

Web History = 5 of 10

Here’s a PDF of the Fast Blog Finder test.

I must admit these results shocked me!  People are paying $50 for the same results as the free dofollow search engines!  As a comparison below are the results of my previous tests.

Previous dofollow search engine review results:

48% DoFollow w3ec.com/dofollow/ (see the review here)

54% DoFollow www.inlineseo.com/dofollowdiver/  (see the review here)

62% DoFollow Atniz.com/dofollow-search-engine/  (see the review here)

42% DoFollow Commenthunt.com  (see the review here)

Search Engine Updated

June 10th, 2009

Just a quick note that I upload the June database.

We are still holding strong at about 160,000 pages indexed.  I deleted 126 blogs this month that changed to NoFollow during May.  However, I ended up adding about an equal number so it was a push.  I guess this just goes to show you how important it is to maintain your dofollow lists.

Enjoy and Happy Backlinking.

Commenthunt review

May 4th, 2009

I completed another review of a dofollow search engine.  This time I reviewed commenthunt.com.  It seems to be a popular site based on many forum posts.  I tested the same 5 searches from my previous review: “vacation”, “dofollow”, “real estate”, “iphone”, and “web history”.  I reviewed the top 10 results and the I must say the results weren’t pretty.  I realized very quickly I was wasting my time but I decided to complete the review to prove a point.

The final score for Commenthunt was 42% DoFollow!  Only 21 of 50 results were do follow.  You can download the results here.

I highly recommend checking all results from Commenthunt because they are likely nofollow.

Are you taking action?

May 2nd, 2009

This post is more directed at my subscribers but the spirit of it relates to everyone.  The question is “Are you taking action?”  For my subscribers the question is have you taken action with my free mini-ebook I sent out last week.  (Let me know if you didn’t receive it!)  It’s a simple 2 page document that lets you get some super charged backlinks with minimal work.

I put the method to good use last night for 90 minutes and again for 60 minutes today and I have already have 15 super dofollow backlinks ranging from Page Rank 2 to Page Rank 6!  These links are on the front page too!  In addition I have about 15 super dofollow backlinks that should be visible in the next few hours.

The value of these backlinks are very high no only in terms of PR and SEO but also in cost of purchasing them.  On Digital point links like these start at $2 for a PR 2 per month up to $20+ for a PR 6 per month.

To ensure I didn’t create too much competition for these backlinks for my users (or me!) I limited gave a different 10 backlinks opportunities to every 10 subscribers so this won’t get destroyed.

As a weekend promotion… (Ends Sunday 11PM Chicago Time) Anyone who signs up for the trial of my DoFollow Search Engine will get this mini-ebook for free.  I will be sending these out manually so it may take a few hours but you will get it by Sunday night!

******My regular subscribers receive regular freebies like this that more then pay for the monthly membership.****

DoFollow Search Engine Review

April 29th, 2009

Just a quick post to thank Andy from dofollow001.com.  Andy has reviewed many of DoFollow search engines and has always done a great job putting them through a solid test.

I emailed recently and asked him to review my site.  Here’s the review of my DoFollow Search Engine.  Outside of a site that appeared to be down temporarily it seemed to perform as I would have expected.

Thanks again Andy for your review.
