I don't have any data one way or the other but it still is very popular so this technique will work. Blog owners that complain about spam kinda blows my mind. I for one would pay for a neat list of do follow blogs that was updated frequently and not too widely available. The top commentator plugin was a big hit but fell from grace starting around 5 months ago because of the huge percentage of spammers it attracted. You are right though with the site wide links... they get a link back for every post and comment and they all show in google web master tools. Cheers You are onto something here. Since a lot of times people will only comment once, and then leave. So if you make like four comments on four different articles, your pretty much already in the top 10. It shouldn't be too hard to do that on multiple websites. At least just to do it once. Constantly would take too much time. Glad you like the design, it was designed by me.
