DoFollow Search Engine Reviews

March 30th, 2009

Today I reviewed 4 popular DoFollow Search Engines:

  1. http://w3ec.com/dofollow/
  2. http://www.inlineseo.com/dofollowdiver/
  3. http://atniz.com/dofollow-search-engine/
  4. http://dofollowsearchengine.com/

I used 5 test searches:

  1. Vacation
  2. DoFollow
  3. Real Estate
  4. Iphone
  5. Web History

I then checked the top 10 unique websites that were returned by each search engine.

The results may surprise people who actually use the free search sites. Three popular free search engines on average only returned 55% dofollow sites.

However I’m happy to report that this Search Engine returned 90% DoFollow. It’s important to note that the site was last updated March 1st so my rule that 10% of dofollow sites change back to NoFollow still holds.

DoFollowSearchEngine.com’s next update is April 1st.

    Those are some excellent results.

Another reason why I still choose DFSE to find my Do Follow blogs over any other Do Follow search engine on the net!

    Keep up the good work.

I am sorry to see that your search engine changed over to a membership service. I redirected all my main page traffic for you as I felt that of all the dofollow search engines yours are the best. Anyone taking up the membership will find they get a decent dofollow resource search engine service.

    Thanks for these reviews.

I’m actually quite surprised that a DoFollow Search Engine can report 55% DoFollow. It isn’t really a DoFollow Search Engine that way is it?

    HI Chris,

I have been a big fan of your search engine since it returned quite good results for me but I was really disappointed when you went the paid membership way. I know its difficult to survive without following any business model but wouldn’t it be good if you adopt any advertising model so that dfse becomes free for all!!

Thanks. I’m glad you enjoyed the site and reviews. I know it would nice to keep a free site but I spend way too much time to keep it free. In my opinion its a bargain given the price other people charge for high PR dofollow blogs. I’ve got thousands of backlinks to this site with minimal work or cost.

I find your search engine for finding dofollow blogs pretty interesting. Thanks for taking the time to create and maintain it. However, I don’t really like the fact that you don’t allow the use of keywords in the name field of your blog comments. Instead of disallowing that, what you should do is to go through every blog and only approve the relevant and helpful ones. What’s the point of posting a comment in a blog when we can’t get to use our keywords in the name field? Please show MORE love, :)

Commenting rules:

1. Comments must be of value and add to the current post.

2. Do not add links within the comment. You already get a link from your name - Don't get greedy.

3. No misspelled words or 3rd grade English. I appreciate that English is not everyone's first language but sentence fragments without punctuation is more likely spam.
